The dress code for our wedding is spring formal! In short, we want our guests looking fancy and colorful! We encourage bright colors and fun patterns!
The ceremony is going to take place on a Christmas Tree Farm! This means you'll be walking through grass and slight inclines. The temperature may also drop a bit at night since it will be early spring. The dinner will take place in an indoor space but the dance floor and cocktail deck are partially outside. We will have heaters in the outdoor spaces and a fire pit! Please keep all of this in mind when planning your outfit!
Will there be a shuttle service?
Yes! We will have a shuttle making loops from Chimney Pond Farm to Hotel Cashiers, The Wells Hotel, and Hampton Inn & Suites. We highly recommend taking advantage of this shuttle before and after the ceremony to ensure a safe and care free night! We will post an updated shuttle schedule here as the date gets closer! If you want to drive yourself or are not staying at or near one of the hotels on the shuttle loop, CPF does have a large gravel parking lot near the reception venue with a short walk to the ceremony site. Cars can be left overnight if needed. Please keep in mind that this is a small town where Uber, Lyft, etc. will not be available.
How can I RSVP?
We invite you to RSVP using the tab on our site. You will be asked to RSVP for both the Welcome Dinner and the Wedding! We kindly request that all guests RSVP no later than February 1st!
Can I bring my children?
We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate any children that are not part of the wedding party.
Which airport should I fly in to?
You have three options!
1. Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is probably the most accessible option! You'll find plenty of options for flights and rental cars. This is likely the most cost effective option! However, the drive from ATL to our recommended hotels is roughly 3 hours and often involves traffic.
2. Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) is my personal favorite! It is a smaller airport in comparison to ATL, but it's still large enough to have some flexibility with flights and rentals. Greenville is also a super cute town! The drive from this airport to our recommended hotels is roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes.
3. Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is the only non-international option and is much smaller than the two others. It's a hub for Allegiant Airlines if that matters to you! It's probably the most expensive and least flexible option. However, it's only a 1 hour and 20 minute drive from our recommended hotels.
